Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 3 September 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of prsolar.com.au and apply to website enquiries and online-store purchases from PR Electrical Pty Ltd, trading as PR Solar (“PR Solar”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Additional written terms may apply to solar, battery, electrical or commercial installation projects. Where a signed proposal, quote, contract or other project-specific agreement applies, those project-specific terms take priority to the extent of any inconsistency.

1. Using this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes, including researching our products and services, requesting a quote, contacting PR Solar and purchasing eligible products through our online store. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or reproduce content unlawfully, or use the website in a way that infringes the rights of another person.

2. Website information

We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but product specifications, availability, images, prices, incentives, energy-market information and other details may change. General website information is not a substitute for a site-specific assessment, written proposal or professional advice relevant to your property or circumstances.

Any examples of system performance, savings, payback, energy production, battery behaviour or similar outcomes are indicative unless expressly confirmed in a written project-specific agreement. Actual outcomes can depend on factors outside our control, including property conditions, shading, weather, electricity usage, tariffs, network requirements and equipment settings.

3. Solar, battery and installation enquiries

A website enquiry or quote request does not itself create a binding installation contract. Project scope, equipment, price, payment stages, installation timing, site requirements, approvals, exclusions, warranties and other project terms will be set out in the relevant written quote, proposal or agreement.

Quotes may be based on information supplied by you and may require confirmation after site assessment, technical review, network requirements or other checks. If site conditions or customer-requested changes affect the agreed scope, any resulting variation should be documented and agreed in accordance with the applicable project terms.

4. Online-store orders

When you place an online-store order, you are offering to purchase the selected products at the price and on the terms shown at checkout. An automated acknowledgement of your order does not necessarily mean the order has been finally accepted. Acceptance is subject to payment, availability and any reasonable verification required to process the order.

We may cancel or decline an order before dispatch where a product is unavailable, a material listing or pricing error has occurred, payment cannot be verified, the order appears fraudulent or unlawful, or we are otherwise unable to supply the order. If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will arrange a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled item or order.

5. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices, taxes, delivery charges and payment options are displayed on the website or at checkout as applicable. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing, delivery and contact information. We may use third-party payment providers to process transactions, and their own terms may also apply to the payment service they provide.

6. Product availability and substitutions

Product availability can change without notice. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement. Product images are illustrative and minor differences in packaging, finish or presentation may occur where the supplied product remains consistent with its description and applicable consumer guarantees.

7. Delivery

Delivery options, charges and any estimated timeframes are shown at checkout or communicated to you. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing. Delays may occur due to stock availability, carriers, weather, remote-area access or other circumstances. Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Returns, refunds and Australian Consumer Law

Our products and services come with rights and consumer guarantees that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law. These statutory rights cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by these Terms and Conditions where the law does not permit that.

If a product or service does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or compensation depending on the circumstances and the nature of the failure. Please contact PR Solar with your order or project details and a clear description of the issue so we can assess the appropriate next step.

Any voluntary change-of-mind return policy, promotional return offer or manufacturer process operates in addition to, and does not replace, rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Manufacturer warranties

Some products may include a manufacturer warranty. Manufacturer warranty terms are separate from your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where relevant, we may ask for information such as proof of purchase, serial numbers, photographs, diagnostic information or other details reasonably required to assess or facilitate a warranty or support request.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website content, branding, graphics, text, layout and original materials are owned by or licensed to PR Solar and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and use the website for personal or ordinary business purchasing purposes, but you must not reproduce, republish, commercially exploit or modify protected content without permission or another lawful basis.

11. Third-party websites and services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, manufacturers, payment providers, maps, platforms or other services. Those services are controlled by third parties and may have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not mean we are responsible for the content or operation of the third-party service.

12. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using our website or providing information to us, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in that policy and in accordance with applicable law.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PR Solar is not liable for loss arising solely from your misuse of the website, reliance on general website information instead of a project-specific written agreement, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our website, business practices or legal requirements. The version published on this page applies from its stated update date. Changes do not retrospectively alter an existing signed project agreement unless that agreement or applicable law allows it.

15. Governing law

These website Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth laws. This does not limit any mandatory rights or jurisdiction available to a consumer under applicable law.
